Portrait of phD student Lisbeth Leinum in staff magazine

PhD student Lisbeth Leinum has transitioned from nursing to research and will soon be able to call herself a fully qualified researcher. This journey is featured in the magazine of Zealand University Hospital.

“As a nurse, I can make a difference for the individual patient I come into contact with. But as a researcher, I can help many – and potentially improve care and treatment for a great number of people.” This is how Lisbeth Leinum explains her leap into research. She is one of the increasing number of PhD students at Zealand University Library, according to the article.
Lisbeth Leinum is one of the driving forces behind studies and contributions to the development of fluid measurement equipment in the OPTIMIZE project. Testing the automatic fluid measurement technology, along with studies of staff’s manual fluid recording, forms part of Lisbeth Leinum’s PhD project.
